I bought a big bag of Dots for the food table here in the creative department. It;s one of those bags filled with itty, bitty bite-sized boxes of Dots. You know, the kind you give out to kids on Halloween. I was all ready to write a nastygram to the Tootsie company accusing them of false advertising. See they have the green Dot proudly displayed on the itty, bitty, bite-sized box, but after eating roughly 12 boxes in the last two days, I had yet to come across a green Dot.
Now, green Dots are my absolute favorite of all the Dot flavors. So, you can imagine my disappointment upon never encountering a green Dot in all those itty, bitty, bite-sized boxes.
But now, much to my delight, I have just opened an itty, bitty, bite-sized box that contained not one, but two green Dots.
Rest easy Tootsie company, you are no longer on my bad side.

that is so weird! when I got home from work I saw a basket of candy sitting on the livingroom table. I had a few tootsie rolls and was debating eating a box of dots. I’d never had dots. So I’m sitting here at my computer chatting with spoony and surfing the web while debating eating a box of dots, when I come across your entry on the very same candy item. so I just ran in there and grabbed a box. it contained 3 red and 3 orange ones. no green. they’re okay. on a candy scale of 1 to 10 I give them a 4.
Yup. Red AND green dots are da bomb, as far as I’m concerned, but I usually only get those crummy yellow ones. What’s up with that?
I take back my rating and give them a 3. I couldn’t even finish the box. Too yucky.

I am extremely fond of Tropical Dots but can’t find any stores that sell them where I currently live. Where do y’all buy your Dots?
