if i am on vacation, why in the hell am i so damn tired? i should be brimming with energy. instead, i sit here and ponder taking a nap. it’s like i am some 84-year-old woman who needs to catch so shut-eye so she can make it through dinner without napping in her creamed spinach.

thus far vacation has proven to be delightfully delightful. my friend glenn has up and left, went off to visit some other minnesota friends before he ventures back to the wilds of san francisco.

in the space of 8 days, i’ve purchased 8 cds, 9 books and viewed 6 movies. i am the entertainment queen. also, an obscene amount of money has been casually tossed into the coin slot of the local ms. pacman machine. i think i might need an intervention or something.

other things i did: ordered pizza online, made sammiches, haunted used bookstores, petted a chinchilla (but i might have already told you that), had copious amounts of sex (let’s give some mad props to friends with benefits), ate godiva chocolates, went to the fair (exhausting column for backwash to follow), drank ciders, looked at the stars, drove and drove, umm, i think that’s it.
