it seems Katherine Graham has died. this makes me oddly sad.

while ben bradlee was always my favorite player in the whole watergate brouhaha, you kinda had to admire graham. when i was in j-school there weren’t a whole lot of women to look up to in the print journalism field. while ms. graham was never a reporter, she sure made an impact on journalism.

kinda stinks when your heroes die.
