“i am rosemary’s granddaughter, the spitting image of my father, and i am not my biggest fan. . .
i don’t even think that’s how the song goes. i have no idea where it came from or who sings it, but i’ve been singing that line over and over to myself since saturday.

Who I Am (4:15) sung by Jessica Andrews
Brett James / Troy Verges
If I live to be a hundred
and never see the seven wonders
that’ll be alright
if I don’t make it to the big leagues
if I never win a grammy
I’m gonna be just fine
’cause I know exactly who I am
CHORUS
I am rosemary’s granddaughter
the spitting image of my father
when the day is done, my momma’s
still my biggest fan
sometimes I’m clueless and I’m clumsy
but I’ve got friends that love me
and they know just right where I stand
it’s all a part of me
that’s who I am
so when I make a big mistake
when I fall flat on my face
I know I’ll be alright
should my tender heart be broken
I will cry those teardrops knowin’
I will be just fine
’cause nothin’ changes who I am
REPEAT CHORUS
I’m a saint and I’m a sinner
I’m a loser, I’m a winner
I am steady and unstable
I am young and I am able
REPEAT CHORUS (X2)
that’s who I am

I dont understand what “rosemary’s granddaughter” is referring to?Is it an allusion to the movie Rosemary’s baby or is it biblical?someone please explain!thanks so much!
She’s just giving a personal touch, the name of one of her grandmothers. That’s all. No biblical or movie references.
I love this song. It’s just awesome!
This song fits me personally. It could fit almost all/any of us. Because we all have some if not all of these traits? It is like a confidence boost. Because we aren’t perfect & most of us won’t see or do any/all of the things in this life. It is just an awesome song & one we can relate too.
Rosemary, the evergreen plant, is also a symbol of remembrance.
It’s cool for be because My grandmothers name is Rosemary and i look exactly like my dad!
i have a four month old daughter who is Rosemary’s granddaughter and looks exactly like her daddy!
