lazy, laziness tonight. i gave myself a pedicure. that was quite fun. my feet are all soft and pretty looking. but then i got bored before the nail polish part, so my nails are not fun colors. ahh, such is life.

the floods are all over the news. i am lucky that my home and such aren’t in jeopardy. but it’s a big pain in my ass. my 30-minute commute has mutated into a 60-minute driveathon. yes, it takes me 60-70 minutes to drive 18 miles. the minnesota river is awesome right now. it’s funny how it just seemed to bloom over the weekend. what used to be marshy areas surrounding the river are now all underwater. it looks more like a lake than a river. the flood is making my commute miserable because a bunch of roads upriver are now under the river. so the only way out of the southwest metro area is hwy 169. so all those people are clogging up my usually pleasantly deserted highway.

ok, that was amazingly boring.
