well, i did it. i went out and bought a grown-up bed that looks an awful lot like this one. i am so excited. but i have to wait until friday to have it delivered. what kind of stinkiness is that? i was hoping for wednesday, but the mattress isn’t in stock or some such nonsense. how am i ever gonna survive until friday? this is just pure insanity.

I know, Jodi. I got a sofabed for the parade of friends we have staying overnight and I’m tired of having them sleep on the broken futon. However it won’t be delivered til May 12. And I want it now!!! If you survive til Friday I’ll survive til then too.

My advice is to go out and get ripping drunk. Pass out in said bed. Resist peeing, puking and sex with strangers and thusly christen it as Bed Of The Future!

As someone who voluntarily slept on his couch for a couple weeks even after his house guest left, I’m the wrong person to ask for advice. I can sleep in the back seat of a car, with the window down and rain pouring in.
