Greetings Gem —
Here is your horoscope for Saturday, February 10:
The Virgo Moon introduces a theme of clutter and confusion. Stay
home and deal with a backlog. As you rearrange your environment,
the pieces of your inner puzzle may start falling into place.
ha! sounds like a wonderful plan to me. that’s what i was gonna do anyway (still working on those new year’s resolutions and what not). i got a swanky, cool new bookcase last night and i can’t wait to stuff it full of books (my collection has outgrown my other four bookcases). sister #3 once said, “you know jodi some people use bookcases for knick-knacks and stuff. you don’t have to fill them with books.” of course she’s wrong, dead wrong. the new bookcase motivates me to clean this cesspool. i want it to have a clean, happy home.
in other news, famous author guy sent me an e-mail thanking me for the link on my page. this has dissipated the mean reds of last night into sort of not-so-nice pinks, which if you’ve ever had the mean reds you know it’s a definite improvement. i think i will got eat a breakfast consisting of cheesy weinies before i embark upon the “great clean up of 2001.” if you could see my apartment you would see what a daunting task this is. be afraid for me, be very afraid. if i make it out alive, it will be some sort of minor miracle.
last time i ventured to santized and tidy up my place, i nearly killed myself. i was cleaning the toilet with some sort of potent chemicals. i must have mixed two chemicals that i shouldn’t have because a cloud of invisible, noxious fumes came from the toilet and i nearly passed out. i sat on the couch for 45 minutes coughing my lungs out and crying (i think the tears came from the coughing so hard and not my sadness at having created the deadly combination). it was wretched. i think i must have done something to my lungs. because i coughed that whole weekend (and it wasn’t a cold-stuffed up sorta cough). but then. . . a mere 4 weeks later i had pneumonia. coincedence? i think not. cleaning is hazardous to your health. that’s why i don’t do it too often.
