it is my honor and pleasure to annouce that i am now the proud owner of my very first power tool. yes, i own tools now! i am a hip, happening, independent single woman afterall. i was trying to put together aforementioned swank new bookcase when, much to my dismay, i discovered a screwdriver was going to be necessary. the butter knife i was using just wasn’t cutting it. so i dressed and set out in search of a screwdriver. i ended up at target (because i am a junkie addicted to target). there i discovered the joy that is cordless, power screwdrivers. wahoo! now i am waiting not-so-patiently for the thing to charge up so i can use it. but, that’s not all. . . i also bought myself my very own, very first tool box. yes, i have a toolbox. i can take care of any of those minor home repairs now. it has a hammer (so now i have two), wrench, pliers, wire cutters, screw drivers, allen wrenches, some nails, scissors and a tape measure (there is a bunch of other stuff but i can’t remember it all). i am now perfectly equipped for any minor home repair that may occur.
