when we were seniors in

when we were seniors in high school, shortly before graduation, we voted for the “senior hall of fame.” you know, those lame awards: best dressed, most school spirit, blah, blah, blah. one of the awards was for “class sleeper.” being the editor of the newspaper and yearbook, i helped out with the counting of the ballots and the photo-shoot of the winners. i specifically remember the “class sleeper” shoot. jenny wolfe didn’t want to get her picture taken, she was embarassed. i was getting annoyed and didn’t undestand why she was being such a pain. jim hillman was giddy and more than happy to pose. i remember complaining to one of my co-workers. “jodi,” teri said, “jenny wolfe doesn’t sleep in class.” oh!

last night, in an attempt to harken back to our younger days, we played a game of i never. i learned that most everybody has had sex in my cars. . . except for me. i never realized that my naivety has endured since the class sleeper days.
