Lest anyone think I am totally losing it, I am well aware and quite excited for the upcoming movie Open Season. I’ve promised Princess Jaycie and Maxwell Pufnstuf that we’ll be seeing it opening weekend. Not only does St. Paul Westerberg play a voice in the movie, he also contributes a ton of songs to the soundtrack.

In fact I’ve been rocking “Love You in the Fall” and “Meet Me Down the Meadow” pretty frequently. Because I’m a sucker for anything Paul does. And since I’m a total sucker for anything about ‘never forgetting you’ (because of my being forgotten phobia) I acutally quite love “Love You in the Fall” even though it smacks of Paul’s “Kickin’ the Stall.” We call that pathetic fangirldom where I come from.
