I spent the day babysitting FFJ’s daughter the lovely Miss V. She is the most charming little girl I’ve hung out with in a long time. We went to the park, sang songs, and read books. It was delightful. It’s the first time I’ve ever spent time with Miss V. alone and I’m so happy it went so well. I think FFJ and her hubbin were a little worried, but I’m old hat when it comes to babysitting.

After some greasy pad thai from Than-Do and girl talk with FFJ, I came home pajamaed, curled into the comfy green chair, and with a gutteral oh-ho-ho-ho turned on some DVRed Dawson’s Creek. This weekend was sheer bliss.
