sixth of all, my as-yet-unnamed dell shipped this morning now i need to quick figger out how to get it to talk to oberon (which will house my MP3s and photos and stuff).
seventh of all, i miss the TTHM entirely more than i want to admit.

Have you tried to google for networking instructions? If you have a cable modem and a router, I think you can do something called peer-to-peer. I’m sorry – I don’t know enough about Windows networking.
i work for a software company, i just plan on bugging one of the geeks until they give me all the answers i need.
I promise the router is as easy as pie. Let me know if you have any questions. Really. I’ve done it like 6 times in the span of two years. 🙂
