moral dilemma of the day

ok darlingones, here’s today’s moral dilemma of the day.

say were just sorta getting to know someone. you don’t know a whole heckuva lot about this person, but what you know so far you totally dig. and lets say you based on the teeny, eeeny bit you do know you find like the perfect present for them. it’s not like a big ticket item, maybe $20. but you really, really wanna get it for them.

do you? or is that just too freaky for words? do you just just tell them about it and let them purchase it for themselves should they so choose?

because if someone found a gift of equivalent perfectness for me, i’d want them to get it for me.

what do you think?

I’d hint around at them and see what happened. “I was thinking of getting you a little gift” “I wasn’t sure if I should. It’s really nto a big deal it’s just sort of ideal for you and…”

Use yer wiley arts of womanly subterfuge girlee!

i say get it. and then preface the presentation of the present with: “i normally don’t do this, but when i saw this, it was just screaming your name”. that’s what i would do.

Get it. People aren’t used to spontenaity (sp?) nowdays… you are not giving a gift because of pressures placed on you (ie. birthday/christmas etc.), you are giving it because you feel like it… this is the most meaningful way i think. I have recieved 2 spontanious gifts in my life and I remember them crystaly… I can’t wait for the next.

Definitely get it. I’ve been known to do the same thing on occasion, and so far nothing bad has happened and no one freaked out. 🙂

All good advice, but remember, only the letter S separates “talking” from “stalking”… I should know…
