writing press releases is about as much fun as watching paint dry. sadly, all my fun writing projects are done and/or pending. so now i’m left with the stuff that i don’t like to do. sadly all i want to do is work on homework stuff or read McSweeney’s 11 or take a nap or daydream or clip my toenails, because that’s all way more fun than writing press releases.

is it just me, or is it weird that bob hope’s obituary in the times was written in 1999 by a man who died in 2000?
wondergeek john went to the antique power show just south of hastings this weekend. yeah, it makes me laugh my ass off too.
on the radio this morning they announced that bob hope had died, but they weren’t sure what the cause of death was. it was old age. you don’t need a coroner’s report for that.
the bossman made me feel bad and icky today. i had a temper tantrum about it over lunch and now i’m ok.
the indigo girls’ version of “romeo and juliet” is on the winamp3 and it’s making me think of that scene in empire records, which i managed to watch 3 times this weekend.
also, you don’t e-mail me enough.
