all time suckiest birthday?

easily, my 16th. i couldn’t wait for my 16th birthday– i had some how manage to wrangle my way into taking my driver’s license test that very day! my dad picked me up from school early and i we went out for some last minute driving.

i was super nervous as the testerguy with the ungodly bushy eyebrows entered the dragon wagon and put on his seatbelt. he told me to go straight out of the parking lot.

i did and immediately failed the test.

apparently it’s illegal to drive on the wrong side of the road and you can fail your test for that. i subsequently failed the test two more times. taking it four times in all.

but that sure as hell ruined my birthday. i spent the rest of the night crying in my bedroom.
