well a much-needed nap has seemed to do wonders for my disposition. i slept like a log while sister #4 did laundry and watched “to kill a mockingbird.” i’m not such a gracious host at all.

now the sunday spreads out before me. i have great hopes of staving off the lonely sunday night blackness that i fall victim to occassionally. i also have hopes of updating my backwash column. but that might be a bit too ambitious.
