my aunt eileen always had the best toys. probably because she was a professional babysitter and had seven kids. she had a ladybug scooter, weeble wobbles, a fisherprice sesame street thing, and skateboads. eileen was the best babysitter ever.

when we were much younger sister #2 and i were often babysat by aunt eileen. this was wonderful not only because of the wonderful toys, but because she always gave us pudding in the little tin cups (obviously this was before the lame plastic pudding cups were invented).

i only mention this because eileen and her husband (my dad’s brother) are venturing from blaine to bowl in the tournament today. i didn’t realize it until now just how excited i am. i love john and eileen. today could prove to be most fun despite the melodramtic wind and cold snow. i’m sure it will be fun because my whole family will be there. sister #2, ben, sister #3, tony, sister #4, cade, jaycie, and max. we’re a whole heap of fun when we all get together.
