I’m a girl on the verge of becoming a woman. And it’s scaring the piss out of me. This adulthood gig might not be all its cracked up to be. I can feel myself gearing up for it. . .[more]
sure adults have favorite bands, and as often as i can get out to see any of them, i will. here’s what i did about the posters; don’t take them down, go out and buy nice aluminium frames (not crappy ones at target or what have you) go to a framing shop. or if you have an artist friend that would be a good resource. i’m a photographer, that’s how i got mine. the posters will have a new legitimacy and will fit into that adult world we’re all destined for.
i came to say that i enjoyed reading your posts… Although it may be none of my business you seem to enjoy beating yourself up…adulthood is nothing to be afraid of… its just another phase in this thing we call life….
have a happy sunday

I blame all your issues on the movie “Crossroads.”
At the gym, every damn day, there is at least two TVs featuring Ms. Candy Pop Boob-Job singing how she’s not a girl, but not yet a woman.
It’s enough to make anyone sick. I blame all this; your introduction to a neat little essay that I liked, your issues with age, the collapse of good MTV, fall of the Roman Empire, et all, on Ms. Spears.
I’ve never spent money on her, and never will. Still, I think she owes me some TIME back, for all I’ve had to see of her.
So, yeah. Jodi, seriously: if you start any further essays parsing lyrics from NSync or Backstreet or whoever, I may never read iwilldare.com again.
And I’ve been a fan for a long time.
So you’ve been warned. Have a neat Monday. Bye! 🙂
