conversation overheard during lunch at the uptown:

“you know chewing celery burns more calories than you get from eating the celery.”
“really?”
“no shit, it’s just full of water and stuff.”
“wow.”
“yeah, you know about spinach?”

that’s when i had to stop easedropping and giggling at the moron-duo. i call them this only because moron 1 was bragging on and on about some fight he had at Liquor Lyle’s the night before. he was talking about punching some guy in the ribs. from the looks of him, i could have kicked this guy’s ass. . . and i am a big wimp.
