She almost had me when she started talking about being the mother of a special-needs child and how she would be an advocate for special-needs kids. I even shed a tear or two. I can’t lie.
But then that’s the last thing she said about being a woman. She did not talk about any cracks in the ceiling, what it means to be a woman in this position, or about women’s issues. This all just proves my theory that she’s a fembot sent to destroy us. She did, however, mention about 942 times how by voting for McCain you were choosing the right MAN for the position. There were about seven minutes there where MAN was every other word out of her mouth. Fuck.
The rest was all oil and war and Obama’s a bad man. Now all the old Republican men are gonna jizz all over how brilliant Sarah Palin was spouting whatever propaganda McCain’s speechwriters told her to spew. Bah!
Sarah Palin sucks for one reason and one reason only. One of her personal initiatives was to ban books. Good books. But to her they were dangerous. Perhaps she should have bought her own daughter a copy of “Birth Control for Dummies”. She’s also against sex education in schools. Bizzozo that she is.

I think I’d want to hear from the librarian before I accused Palin of book banning. I do, however, think her views on sex education and reproductive rights are totally archaic and damaging to women.
It did seem that most of Palin’s speech was about talking down the opponent with very little substance other than the fact that she is God’s right hand woman and believes oil will save us. Those positions seem to be more than a bit dated.
Palin spent a lot of time trying to convince me that she was just like me, a Mom, a Wife, interested in her children’s education, etc. But let me tell you something. I want someone who is, literally, a heart attack away from the presidency to be smarter than me, not “just like me”. Those fucking hockey Mom’s can have her! She does nothing for women, except keep us in the mini-van. No Thanks! Oh, and at 9 o’clock at night, your five month old should be in bed, not getting pet by Cindy McCain,
I listened via NPR last night for the 1st time while out & about. After an hour I was so angry, I had to turn it off.
Are people really this dumb? God help us all.
