One of my absolute favorite forms of communication is the text message. Better than chat and e-mail, it’s the ultimate passive aggressive way to send information to people you know. They are easily ignored, fun to send and read, and a pleasure to decipher. I love them. The quickest way to my heart is to send me a cryptic text message. It will keep me entertained for entire minutes at a time.
My text message life has been quite dead lately. It makes me terribly sad, because well, I love getting text messages. But today, today I’m text messaging up a storm.
See, Sister #2, the Stink, Princess Jaycie, and Max are on a Clark Griswoldesque vacation. They are driving down to Florida to visit Disneyworld and Sister #2’s friend Muriah. Along the way they stopped to see our friend Ray in Madison and spent the night in Nashville.
Sister #2 just messaged to me to say that her state count (we have a who has visited the most states competition and she is currently the leader) had just reached 23. She also said they were gonna try to nip into Alabama just so she could add another notch to her map. I told her that nobody likes her.
I think she’s still bitter from that time Sister #4 and I went to dinner in Mississippi, just because it would piss her off.
