i nearly peed my pants watching the 10 o’clock news tonight. the second story, the not the tippy toppest news, but the alomst tippy top, was a story about a fight at a high school. this is news in minnesota. nobody was killed, nobody was even taken to a hospital though one mother claimed she was taking her son to the doctor. the fight may have been gang related, but they aren’t sure. this was the second story on our ten o’clock news. the school fight beat out . . . the death or rasa parks, hurricane william and the guy picked to replace Greenspan.

i thought perhaps it was a slow news day. but ROSA PARKS DIED! the woman who became the figurehead of the civil rights movement. the woman who would not move to the back of the bus died, and she got beat out by a fight at a high school that may or may not be gang related.

and people wonder why nobody trusts the fucking media.
