for lunch Al, the cutest girl on earth™, seamus and i went to Chipotle. we sat on the big porch behind the little strip of restaurants. the sun was shining, the wind was warm, and everyone there, everyone there was just so damn happy you couldn’t help but grin your fool face off. see, it’s October 18th and it’s 74 degrees out. it’s beautiful and the leaves are all red and orange and this is Minnesota, so we know that you have to drink these days in with both hands. at lunch we talked about Al’s trip to vegas, my trip to monticello and seamus trying to have sex with his exGF while the dog sat on the bed. we laughed loudly and longly and inappropriately. we laughed at ourselves, and about how after five days apart we missed each other. we smiled at the other people sitting on the big back porch and sang the joys of smoked tabasco sauce.
and the on way home, we rolled down the windows and with our hair whipping around our faces we sang Bowie’s “Ground Control to Major Tom” at the top of our lungs.
it’s about the little moments my friends, the little moments.
This is a scene from a movie with a great song playing loudly over it, but what’s the song?
