last week when i went to diner with wendy, we talked about our living situations and how we both need to get the hell outta dodge. both of us sort of agreed that while we need new apartments, neither of us were really ready to buy anything.
i’m sorry wendy, but I LIED!
well, i kinda lied. it seems that i am soon to be the proud owner of a townhouse. well, i’m gonna be a proud partial owner of a half a townhouse. big changes are afoot. when groomzilla dumped sister #4 he said he wanted to keep the house. she was all fine, i’m moving! but then he decided afterall that he didn’t want the house and she was all fine, i’m keeping it! only she can’t afford to keep it on her own. so she went to her big sister and asked if she could pony up the money and move in.
of course when she called, big sister was sitting there watching creepy cousin (WHO STILL HAS NOT LEFT) clean out his car and thinking ‘i need to get the fuck out of here.’
perfect timing.
so, if all goes well, i’ll have a new address by september 15 — and from now until then all my spare time will be spent boxing up books and throwing away all the crap that i should have thrown away years ago.
whee! i’m so nervous and worried and all that stuff. but generally so excited that i could pee my pants.
YOU LIAR!
but, yay! and I have an SUV that i could clean out if you need some help moving. and can i have your old apartment?
thank you! thank you! thank you! i don’t think you’d want my old apartment it totally sucks ass!
now, once i get a dining room table, i can totally entertain– you will have to come over!
okay, you’re right. i don’t know how i’d react if someone was on my balcony looking for a cordless phone.
but listen, if you need some extra roommates, i know where you can find some!
YAY!!
I feel the need to chime in and yet I have nothing to say.
Is that wierd or what?
now when you need a babysitter you can drop the young’un at my house!
holy crap. that’s spectacular!
wait. is the new house closer to mine or farther?
actually farther. i’m moving to shakopee, right off hwy 169.
Congratulations. I hope you and the sister get along well – and share the same musical taste-or at least have good insulation and plenty of separate space.
