i really, really want to mess with texas

ok, i just saw the line-up for the Austin City Limits Festival and now i have an overwhelming urge to go to Texas in September. if we do go (and you’re coming right?) though, we won’t be able to watch suggestive high school cheerleading competitions. but i think we can console ourselves with Mike Doughty, Tegan and Sara, The Decemberists, Wilco, Lucinda Williams. . . oh my god i think i just came.

That is an impressive line-up! Didn’t know you were so easily excitable.

    Hope things are swell,
    JJ

If you come, you DO realize you have to look me up! I might even be able to save you a hotel situation you know.
Not to mention someone has to show you around. 😀

Come! The festival is fun and this year promises to be amazing! We might even be able to save you room in our guest room (if the dogs will allow it).

Oh yeah and prepare to sweat like crazy – at the festival.

Recockulous temperatures, and port-o-potties. I might be able to overlook all of these for the music and the company.

However…JJ does not do well with crowds for miles.

It’s kind of childish and stupid, like highschool, but it’s my cross to bare.

Hope you have a good time,
    JJ

Texas isn’t necessarily Hell, but it’s a local call.

hi jodi. have you noticed the special little note on roland’s LCD display when track 10 is played on “haughty melodic”? that mike doughty is one witty fellow.

This might only work if you were to actually buy the CD and then import it into itunes but anywho, it says: “Grey Ghost (Here’s the hidden message. Eat your greens. Read “Everything and Nothing” by Borges. Thanks for listening. Mike)”

I bought the CD and imported it but I don’t get any hidden messages, either inside iTunes itself or on my iPod.

Good to know the answer to the mystery, tho, I’ve been waiting all weekend for Tony’s response. (Many Google searches and many listens to Grey Ghost revealed nothing on my end)
