instead of hanging out at home all day drowning in the inevitable muck of a black sunday. i decided to go hang out with some of my favorite kidlings. see, max had called at about noon imploring me to come visit because he want to a birthday party yesterday and got some dots. he had been saving the dots all day for me and he wasn’t quite sure how much longer he could wait.

so while sister #2 painted princess jaycie’s bedroom, the kidlings and i hung out. here’s a list of what we did:
read six issues of Highlights for Children
-talked about how aunt cece (sister #3) always bought underpants for birthday gifts
-how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie roll tootsie pop
-how not cool it is to take pictures of the toilet (much to jaycie and max’s chagrin)
-if the scribbles on stucky the baby-doll’s head were actually tattoos
-whether or not cozy heart penguin should come live with me (a resounding no from max)
-do max’s blankies need a new friend?
-how being first in line at the bus stop is not all that cool because sometimes the mean boys will kick your backpack out of place
-how some of the mean boys at the bus stop don’t respect the trees
-whose turn it is to take pictures of the toilet
-who was cooler spiderman or superman (max and i have agreed to disagree)
-how despite the fact that the book is called Tiger is a Scaredy Cat Tiger is not really a scaredy cat
-that some bats eat bugs and some bats eat fruit
-that doctor barbie looks so new because she was packed away in a box for so long

and then after those 10 minutes, i passed out from exhaustion.
