sometimes i forget that some people that i might not really know, but who are involved with the people in my life may be reading iwilldare.com. so, masked in my veil of “anonymity” i wrote about a mean sister. i used my writerly hyperbole based on the judgments and situations of another to dub amanda hugnkiss’ sister the mean one.
that wasn’t fair. beacause i don’t even know her and having never had any experience with her i shouldn’t have called her that. i shouldn’t have used the experiences of my melodramatic sisters #2 and #4 to dub her the mean sister, and i really shouldn’t have dubbed her that for the sake of dramatic hyperbole.
mean sister (sorry now it’s stuck) i’m sorry. you are right. the bossy older sister doesn’t get enough credit. you performed and looked beautifully yesterday. the wedding was wonderful, and i know that it’s not easy to watch a younger sibling get married.
i wrote like an ass and for that i’m sorry.
I hope your honesty will be apreciated.
It absolutely is!
Thank you, Jodi.
And now, I might just go get drunk and fuck some cows, because I was indeed “born in South Dakota”.
i hope it will too. but, who knows? if not, what can you do? i can’t take it back and i won’t. i guess it’s a chance you take as a writer, offending someone. now you see why my sisters don’t read this web site.
thank you mean sister, and anyone who listens to liz phair can’t be all that bad.
