i had the laughably misguided notion this morning that i would read up on php and then convert iwilldare.com. yeah. so not gonna happen in this life time. the thought of converting the 4,209 entries in the archives from html to php was enough to make me want to cry. so i think i’ll just have to give up the idea of having that swanky little side blog. boo.

You don’t necessarily have to use PHP. Its easiest but you could use SSI includes too ( here’s a tutorial).
I don’t remember having a problem converting entries. I would assume that you change the file extension in the MT control panel and rebuild, but I can’t remember at the moment.
Also on ScriptyGoddess there’s a mention of the plug in MTOtherBlog (here).
OR!! You could parse php as html. I think all that takes is an htaccess file…. and might be the easiest of the non-conversion options. I’d have to double check how to go about that. You could ask your webhost too.
OR!! In the Scripty comments, there’s a mention of making a new category and a plug in.
