in my lifetime i’m still not right

i’m well on my way to working myself into a woe-is-me sort of snit that usually ends with me laying in bed curled up like a shrimp crying my eyes out. i can feel it brewing and taking roost in the form of a knot in my right shoulder.

i really hate PMS with a passion that i reserve for worms, and well, basketball. it would be so much easier if telling myself that it’ll all be over soon enough and there’s nothing to be that upset about would work, but that’s just not the case with PMS. no matter how much the logical side of you tells the emotional, temper-tantrumy side that you just need to ride the hormonal wave and it’ll be ok, the temper-tantrumy side still wins. still wins, not matter what you do.

it’s all very frustrating.

tonight as soon as i get home i’m taking a shower with the cranky baby shower stuff, i hope that will help some.

i’m one step away from a bought of serious blues myself. i’m on the edge of being completely overwhelmed by everyone and everything in my life. i was right at the cusp of it this morning but somehow i’ve taken a step back for the time being. i’m somewhat afraid to go home tonight, for fear it might slurp me up whole.

I recently tried taking evening primrose oil and astralgus supplements, which my doctor suggested, and I have to say that they really helped my pms blues. I call them the irrationality eraser!
