i’ve completed the first three chapters of the book. it’s going just swimmingly really– nowhere near as bad as the last book i edited. this author is really pretty good. of course, i’m not even a quarter of the way done, i’m still in the sunny three-hours into it phase. this will probably change around chapter 16 when i begin the “i’m never gonna get this done i promise never to procrastinate again please god help me” phase of the bookediting process.
in other news this is the time of the night where i proclaim The Weakerthans as my NFB (new favorite band), not to be confused with my NBFB or my AFB (all-time favorite band).

These guys are great. I haven’t heard the whole of their most recent album, but the bits I have are boppin’ and rockin’! Jodi in Winterpeg; that would be somethin’! (Lots and lots of people go there to live and write and make art and stuff, cause it’s so cheap. FYI. Guy Maddin, crazy filmmaker makes all of his films there. I chuckle every time I imagine Isabella Rosselini trudging to work on “The Saddest Song.”)
