remember way back a few months ago when i was all in a flutter because they were gonna hire someone to be the boss of me?
yeah, well they’re not. bad news, i’m not getting a raise or anything and the position isn’t mine.
but for now it’s just status quo and i couldn’t be happier about it.

Status quo is pretty good. You still stay boss free and the opportunity may present itself again…
I just have issues with “status quo” when it means “Jodi hasn’t updated for, like, three days or something.”
Then it (status quo) kind of bums me out.
