they think my uncle george had a heart attack. he’s in the hospital now, they’ll know more tomorrow. my mom’s a wreck, afraid she’ll lose her oldest brother on the heels of her mother.
i spent the night with her and my sisters, just talking and remembering.
i don’t know if i’m strong enough for this. i’m afraid to sleep on the chance that i’ll dream.

There could be a million other things those symptoms could be besides a heart attack; Gall Bladder, panic, bad gas from the steaks; All sorts of stuff.
Even if it is a heart attack, for him to be in the hospital is a good thing; They can monitor him and be there with all sorts of things to keep him from getting worse.
