it’s 8:32 on Monday and i’m already too exhausted for words. i think it’s going to be one of those weeks. actually, i’m pretty sure it’s going to be one of those three-week stretches with too much to do, no desire to do it, and well, where all hell breaks loose on a daily basis. i just don’t understand how work can be such a continual, drawn-out, series of hellaciousness. is all of corporate america like this? or am i just lucky enough to work at corporate dysfunction headquarters?

It’s not just you. It’s the bad economy and companies realizing you’re not going anywhere. They’re going to beat you till you give up or fight back. They’re betting you won’t fight back.

It my job too. I’ve gotten quite fond of saying, “I’ve pulled so many miracles out of my ass, I’m chapped and bleeding.” The economy needs to pick up so we can get better jobs!
