sister #4 has scared me to death with tales of people blowing up from the combination of sparky static electricity and pumping gas.
sister #4 claims that people have been blowing up all over the place (though i’ve never head of it). of course since i have this totally irrational fear that ruby will spontaneously combust when i’m driving her, you can see why this little bit of news might worry me.
anyway, andrea has helped to allay my fears. phew!

google schmoogle. i didn’t say her car wouldn’t explode. i just said she wouldn’t get shocked as much when she gets out of the car, because she’d be grounding herself. it’s harder to ground yourself when you’re getting back *in* the car, though.
