oh my am i full of piss and vinegar today. i think it was the morning commute. it took me over 30 minutes for the last five miles of my journey. yeah, that got me real hopped up and it seems to have spilled over into the day.

i’m just on a tear today. i just sent a venting email to the head guy of backwash bitching about the way some of the writers conduct themselves over there. i’ve been doing oodles and oodles of research on writing web content, tone, and voice and various hooha stuff like that for work and i’m doing my best to apply it everywhere i write.

backwash is continuously plagued by whiny writers. people whine because they don’t get enough traffic or face time on the homepage, blah, blah, blah. yet these are the same people who don’t update consistently or update all the damn time.

i’ve learned that consistency is the key to building traffic with that kind of site. people need to know when to find you and what they can expect when they do.

blargh! expect more vile spewage later on.
