the end of the affair

ok all you ladies who’ve read “Good in Bed,” i must know. . . did you not find it the teensiest bit predictable? or is it just me. i find myself wanted to skip entire pages because i know what’s gonna happen. i knew from the minute she visted bruce the outcome. i knew from the minute she talked with the doc at the fat club what’s going to happen.

i still adore cannie, the main character, but i am a little angry that she’s being put into such a predicatable story.

I liked it, too–and the stuff with the baby was, to me at least, unexpected. Of course, I also read it over a year ago, so my recollections of my impressions are a bit fuzzy. Cannie is a great character, though.
