i just read that book a few weeks ago… it was fabulous!!

by the way, what on god’s green earth possessed that woman to name her “cannie”? then again, maybe it was some sub-conscious masochistic desire manifesting itself because of her own unfortunate surname. i’d be bitter if my name was weiner, too.
