where on earth is the sun anyway?

here’s the problem with sleeping pills. tylenol pm specifically. i think it takes too long to kick in. i mean like an hour after you take it, you get sleepy. which really is all fine and dandy. but, you know, you don’t take it until you haven’t been able to sleep like an hour, so there you’re already down two hours of sleep. sadly, you can’t just start your day two hours later so you still have to get up at the same time. however you’re still under the effects of the magic sleep drug so you’re just sorta groggy and half-awake.

really, i can see how people would get hooked on uppers and downers. because i sure as hell can’t seem to wake up today. i’m already on diet coke number 2 and planning a trip to the coffee shop before my afternoon meetings.

also, i would like to take this opportunity to blame the lethargy on the rainy, cold weather. because you know how much i love to blame the weather for all my woes.

one word – valerian. non-addicitve (well, at least not chemically speaking) and you don’t wake up drowsy.
