the bell jar

you can rest easy darling ones. i was almost ready to call a complete state of emergency in jodiland. i went to burn a rufus wainwright cd for sister #3 and when i popped open the jewel case it wasn’t there. you can imagine my horror.

i spent the next 15 minutes frantically searching through all the nearby cds and finally found rufus resting quietly underneath the book jacket for bridget jones’s diary (yes, i realize i should improve my housecleaning/organization skills).

phew.

now i am off to go curl up in bed (yeah, yeah, i know it’s early but i gotta be up at the asscrack of dawn to work the bowling tournaments) and read The Bell Jar, which the supahswanky divine ms. minx sent me because she’s so damn cool.

i haven’t read this book since high school. i’m wondering how it will effect me know after all this time. i vaguely remember being very bitter towards ol’ esther. probably because she was a beautiful writergirl with all these opportunities i didn’t have.

i hope i’m not as bitter this time around, that would just make me feel oogy.
