jaycie and i had a fight tonight. really, i was just being a brat so the fight was entirely my fault. you should probably be impressed that i could out-brat a 4 year old. i know i’m impressed.
i was sitting on the couch and jaycie brought over a box of crispix cereal. pointing to the back of the box where there’s a picture of all the characters from Monsters, Inc.
“jodi, this one’s my favorite,” she said pointing out celia the one-eyed girlfriend with the snake hair.
“boo’s my favorite.”
“oh because she looks like me?” she said in all her i-am-the-center-of-the-universe-4-year-oldness.
“no, because she lookes like me,” i said in all my i-am-antagonistic-29-year-oldness.
“she doesn’t look like you, she looks like me!”
“nuhuh, she looks like me!”
“MOoooooOOOMMMM, aunt bad lady said boo looked like her.”
“tell her you look like boo,” sister #2 says from over the stove.
“mom said i look like boo,” jaycie said shaking her head at me.
“well, i look like boo,” i said.
“YOU DO NOT!”
“fine, then i look like the octopus lady.”
“NO! she’s my favorite. i look like the octopus lady.”
“you can’t look like boo and the octopus lady.”
why not?”
“because i said so.”
“max, tell jodi she doesn’t look like the octopus lady and that i do.”
“jodi grody,” max says, “jaycie looks like the octopus lady.”
“she does not, she looks like boo!”
“jodi grody you better be nice or your going to jail,” max said.
“fine! but at least i’ll look like the octopus lady in jail.”
“MOooooOOOMMMM, jodi wants to look like the octopus lady in jail!”
and it went on like that for quite some time. can you see why i love sister club?
I absolutely love the names they have for you. They’re great. 🙂
See? Did it again. The whole make my day thingy.
Sister Club Forever!
i want a sister club but i can’t have one. i only have one sister and she’s far, far away.
