it’s citizen king and coldplay day in the resolution rotation. coldplay not so well-suited for today though. mostly because it reminds me of last year and the winter doldrums– which i am going through right now. i blame the encroaching february and our rancourous relationship.

but i will perservere, i always do. i just tend to get a bit more annoying than usual in february. . . it’s sorta like having PMS for a month. maybe this year will be different. you always have to hope that this year will be better than the last.

in other news, i am roughing it this weekend. roughing it means that i will be surfing and posting from otto and a dial-up connection. i hope i can survive such barbaric conditions. you might want to pray for me, i am not so tough sometimes.

the roughing it is due to puppy-sitting for kari, the best friend. she and her hubby and the delightful, orangehaired jakers went out to LA to visit the aforementioned lesbian-stereotyping-siste (did anyone follow any of that?).
