yeah, so i am new to this whole alphabet thing. actually i think the cds were out of order in the cd-rack so well, i guess anyway you look at it, this is my fault.

back to the babes. of course, they will have to say merely because i have an undying allegiance to all bands minnesotan. i am goofy that way. it’s all about the family or something like that.

the babes were my favorite for about a week back in my riot grrrls day. all that grungey, loud angry young woman stuff. i ate it up. of course they got lost in the shadow of ms. courtney love and hole and what not and that’s just too bad. because kat bjelland and lorie barbero rock and from what i understand they were first.

my biggest babes memory is seeing them play at this tiny dive bar in eau claire wisconsin called the golden chair. kat bjelland is the tiniest little thing ever. just delicate and petite but she could probably kick my 6’5″ ass.
