jimmy quit, jodi got married

i hope ryan will forgive me. i ditched out on his concert tonight. i

the weirdness has intensified and well i told ella, “coming to work these days is like stepping through the looking class. everything is curiouser and curiouser.”

so yes, i ditched out on ryan adams and hung out with the girls. it was probably the best possible thing i could have done tonight. it felt so normal. bitching, venting, laughing, eating pizza, and just being us. those three are the best thing to ever come from this job. i adore each of them.

plus, the real bonus was flirting and cuddling and smooching my most favorite orangey haired boy on the planet– jakey is amazing. i am pretty sure he’s the cutest baby on the face of the earth. of course it helps greatly that he laughs, wrinkles his nose and shoves his fingers in my mouth, which we all know is the highest form of affection a baby can lavish on you.

he thinks i rule (and he’s right).

so yes, i ditched my dream lover for a bunch of girls and a little boy. probably not the most exciting choice on earth. but you know, when the chips are down and weirdness abounds, it’s much better to surround yourself with people you love and not people you lust.
