it’s raining, it’s pouring

it’s raining again in my bathroom. there was an avalanche of ceiling material a bit ago. luckily the cats and i escaped unscathed, mostly because we were still in bed.

so i sit here now and wait for someone to come fix it. i am not too optimistic about this whole fixing thing being as i left an emergency page some 45 minutes ago. Blech!

hopefully the fixerguy is hot. i could use some hot plumberporn action today.

Okay, here it is, it will give you something to do while waiting for the plumber. I went for a while of involuntary celibacy, because only dweebs liked me. Then one of the dweebs asked me to go play volley ball with his friends. There were so nice, they were probably dweebs in high school, but they were still fun. They were all college educated, we’d go out drinking and for dinner after the games, they didn’t smoke cigarettes and always left more than enough money for their share of food plus a good tip. I ended up marrying one. In volley ball, a tall girl is an asset, they love it. And if you don’t know squat about playing, they all love to instruct you. I was humiliated by my lack of volley ball skill, so I took lessons and then the people in the class started up another volley ball fun group on Saturdays to just practice. There were social opportunities everywhere. So tall girl, give it a try either a class or just a group of shy, funny guys who like to play with women and aren’t too competitive to have fun. Your red headed stranger may be waiting to lick guacamole off your nipples!!!! Betsy.

That was great, Betsy! I love your story… see, I’m one of the dweebs, so I guess there was a message in there not only for the tall girl, but for us dweebs as well (Software Engineer Dweeb).

Well said! As a newly initiated dweeb (I didn’t used to be a dweeb, did I?), I must applaude anyone of dweebly nature who makes an effort to be social. I can remember all sorts of occasions where we went out to play and had all sorts of fun. And since I’m happily married to a non-dweeb, I have to assume it worked!
