cats must not understand the concept of sundays. i think they were bugging me for fear i’d oversleep for work or something. i thought the waking up thing was only supposed to be a dog trick?

No, I think they just wanted to be fed. Cats are selfish that way.
I am not sure about the food thing…mine make me get up every day at 0500, even if their bowls are overflowing…
same here, manz.. my cat has plenty of food.. I think she just gets bored and wants to play.. and she can be an evil little snot when she really wants in my room..
