“yeah, yeah that’s it! mtv are such liars. we’re watching a show called two-hit wonders and they have soul asylum on there!”
“what?”
“they didn’t mention ‘somebody shove?'”
“oh! i forgot about that one too! they only said ‘runaway train’ and ‘misery.'”
“gah! i hate misery.”
“MTV is dumb. obviously soul asylum had more than two hits.”
“yeah, but maybe they only had more than two hits here, since they’re from minnesota.”
“oh yeah, i didn’t think about that. still. . . i just heard ‘black gold’ on the radio the other day.”
