(int. modern day cube farm. Lit mostly by the glow of computer screens, the two women’s cubes are split by a half wall and a round table. Jodi with headphones around her neck sits with her back to her computer facing Maria who is sitting at the table)

JODI (Crumb, a local sandwich place, menu in hand):
Oh! I am getting the Chunk of Love Brownie.
MARIA:
Of course you are.
JODI:
Because it reminds me of (singing the theme song of a popular VH1 reality show) Rock of Love.
MARIA (shaking her head):
Yeah, I saw that coming.
