i’m having one of those creatively frustrating days fraught with confusion and office politics. it’s making me feel all icky inside, and i can’t use the nytimes.com to avoid life like i usually do, because that just makes me feel sad inside.
and now i’m resisting the urge to go spend a lot of money on new records, because no matter what i can still escape in music, right? is blowing $30 on new music really that ridiculous?
i want to crawl in a hole and have someone take care of me for awhile, until everything blows over.

Spending money on music is far from ridiculous – it is actually necessary to retain health and sanity. Music has more than once taken care of me when I’ve crawled into that hole and escape the evil world. Just let us know what you’ve bought and remember – it is money better spent on Turkish hookers and crack.
$30, thats cheap compared to what I normally spend, do it I say, DO IT!
