written on my page of dialog, As I said in class, Jodi, this has a wonderful sisterly tone – familiarity – long-knowing – exasperating – etc. Nice job.
but even better than that was the comment in class this week about the dialog it was something like, “it’s like jodi’s dialog from last week. it explains the story, and the characters without giving too much expository detail. that’s what you want dialog to be.”

I agree, you have a way of keeping the characters expository detail to a minimum while being completely, and brutally, honest.
Your stories have all made my mind wonder at the sub-text, the unwritten history of the players; That is good story-telling.
Just make sure you aim for a nice deep spot of the river when you throw me from the viaduct in flagrante delicto.
