i’ve made a giant leap forward in my audio-visual moderness. thanks to my parents’ and sister #3 i am the proud, proud owner of my very own dvd player. now, i only hope that it will work with my hand-me-down tv.

if you don’t have a DVD connection on your TV like ours, you’ll have to hook it through your VCR. most players say not to do that because the quality isn’t as good sometimes, but if you have a newish VCR, it should be ok.
